This directory tree contains the LaTeX source used to build several MX
documents.  At present, it contains:

    area_detector     - A manual customized specifically for MX area
                        detector users.

    driver_reference  - This manual documents the device drivers available
                        for MX.

    programmers_guide - This manual is intended as an introduction to
                        programming new MX applications.

    tex_macros        - These are just some LaTeX macros use to build
                        the MX documentation.

    util              - Program(s) used by the build system.

WARNING:
Although MX itself is portable, the build system for MX documentation,
the build system is not.  At present, building the MX documentation has
only been tested on Debian Linux distribution.  The following systems
are required if you want to build all possible documentation formats:

    LaTeX
    pdflatex
    tex4ht
    pnmbbox - (Included with this archive.  It must be compiled and put
               in a directory mentioned by the PATH environment variable.)
